Azerbaijan GP 2020 Race was Postponed Due to Covid-19 Pandemic

Formula 1 organizers have announced to postponed of the season 2020 latest race Azerbaijan GP.
On Monday Baku City Circuit officials said that after a long discussion with F1, FIA, and the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic decided to postpone the race.

This decision was based on the continuous global COVID-19 pandemic and expert guidelines that are provided to us by the relevant authorities.

After the Australian, Bahrain, Vietnam, Chinese, Dutch, Spanish, and Monaco GP races were postponed Azerbaijan was the 8th race of the 2020 season which was delayed or canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

After seven Grand Prix cancellations or postponements, the Formula 1 organizer has decided to postpone the season 2020 8 race Azerbaijan race in Baku which is scheduled for 7 June 2020.


The F1 Azerbaijan GP 2020 tickets are still valid without further formalities till the new date of the Grand Prix is confirmed. All viewers will be informed of the available options, both for those who bought their tickets through the Baku City Circuit website and through different channels.
