Mercedes took 15 victories last year, whereas Ferrari and Red Bull received only three wins each. This season Mercedes has been steadily overtaken for the first time since 2014. After Honda upgraded its power play, even Mercedes boss Toto Wolff classified Red Bull as a severe risk.
If so, it could add even more fuel to the explosive encounter between Ferrari teammates Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc. While gossips of retirement still revolved around Vettel's garage, the flying Dutchman Max Verstappen could benefit from Ferrari's woes. The pending champion has already warned that Red Bull "must be competitive from the first race". It looks like he's in no mood to spare the tyres.
Lewis Hamilton has won his 6th World Driver’s Championship title in season 2019 , while the famous Michael Schumacher won total seven titles, Hamilton is away just one title
