The battle between Mercedes and Red Bull lasted just minutes as the first race weekend of the year kicked off in Bahrain.
Lewis Hamilton has promised to be more aggressive on the track in 2022 as Max Verstappen blamed his rival of sandbags in pre-season.
Hamilton faced the media on Friday morning at a press conference before the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix when he asked about the rivalry with Verstappen in 2021. The pair clashed several times on many events before Verstappen was crowned champion in Abu Dhabi, and fans will see a more aggressive Lewis Hamilton in 2022.
"I'm going to be a more aggressive driver this year," Hamilton replied frankly after a brief pause. "You will see."
