This weekend's race also features the debut of the first sprint race of 2024, with a new and improved format that increases pressure on drivers with only a single practice session instead of the customary three.

The upcoming race in China is highly anticipated, as it marks the first time in four years all 10 teams will compete together on the track. The unfamiliar Shanghai International Circuit presents a new challenge with the untested technical regulations introduced in 2022.

When will the 2024 Formula 1 China Grand Prix begin?

The Formula 1 China Grand Prix 2024 will start on April 19 and conclude with the final race on April 21, 2024.

Where will the China GP be held?

The 2024 China GP race will take place at the Shanghai International Circuit in Jiading, Shanghai. The race course spans 5.45 kilometers, includes 16 twists, and can accommodate an impressive crowd of 200,000 people the track is designed by the most famous track designer, Hermann Tike.
